Here are a few tough questions that I have been asking myself lately.
1.) Am I seeking to know God's heart for me or to know the absolute minimum that He will acept? Am I just looking to be "Ok" with God or completely sold out to Him?
2.) Is the law of no effect to the Christian or are we to live by the spirit of the law?
3.) What does it really mean to be holy as God is holy? Has God set a bar that we can never achieve? And is that the point to bring us to the end of ourselves and complete reliance on God?
4.) Why do I struggle to live in the balance instead of on the tip of extremes?
5.) Why won't God give me more hours in the day like I have requested on numerous occasions?
Here are some random thoughts that I have crept into my head lately.
"Extremes pollute truth and dilute its power by removing the essence of what makes something true."
"The only things that are ever perfect are those things done directly by God or by His power."
"The only sin that God cannot forgive is the unconfessed sin, the thing that we think is beyond His ability to forgive."
"A question is the fundamental starting line for humility because it is founded on the fact that you don't have all the answers."
