As I looked up at the blue sky with fluffy white clouds this morning, I couldn’t help but be struck by God’s creativity. Every morning, God paints a new sky as a sign to the earth that He is here and active in the world. God did not create the earth, give it a spin and walk away. No, He is sovereign over all things.
Some mornings the sky is filled with dark clouds. At other times, the light dances across the clouds as if hopping on lilly pads. Sometimes there are no cloud at all, just beautiful blue sky. Our lives are no different. God makes the day filled with sunshine just like the periods of storm or draught. Each day represents a new opportunity for God to reveal more of his glory and Master Plan to us. The real question is, “Am I walking through life with my eyes open?”
