I find Pastor Poonen’s point to be very true. I have often wondered where is the power in the churches today? Much of what is used by pastors today to get crowds worked up amounts to little more than euphoria and psychological manipulation. If we only walked more with the Spirit of God as our power source, we would not have this problem.
A young man recently said, “I’m not ADD. I just have trouble focusing.”
I am trying to figure out if this guy was living in denial or was a man of faith refusing to be defined by his weakness. He may not have wanted to be labeled by a quick diagnosis based on limited knowledge. Sometimes it can be hard to tell the difference between delusion and genius.
