Chaille Brindley loves Jesus Christ and has experienced the struggle of
working out his faith with fear and trembling. Raised in the Church,
Chaille has traveled a journey of doubt and confusion familiar to many
young believers. Today, Chaille works as a journalist in Richmond,
Virginia. He spends most of his free time seeking God's face, mentoring
others, writing, and interceding for whatever God lays on his heart.
Chaille Believes:
- The Trinity - There is one true God. He is three persons - the
Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.
- Biblical Authority - The Bible is the 100% perfect Word of God.
- Sin - All men and women have sinned. Sin ultimately leads to
eternal death and separation from God.
- Salvation - The only one way to be saved from the wages of sin
is to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is by grace through
faith in Jesus that people are saved not by works. For a complete
description of what a person must do to be saved from eternal judgment,

- Virgin Birth - According to the Bible, Mary, a virgin, conceived
a baby boy called Jesus. The Holy Spirit impregnated Mary with godly
seed. Jesus became the Messiah promised in the Old Testament.
- Kingdom of God - Many people including Christians are trying to
learn how to be a good earth dweller instead of focus on the next world.
We are just visiting here on earth. One day the entire earth will be
destroyed, and the only thing that we will have is our
heavenly/spiritual inheritance. Jesus spent a considerable amount of
time preaching on inheriting the kingdom of God. Unfortunately, many
people stop after receiving salvation and forgiveness of their sin.
Their faith becomes stagnate and progresses no further into the new
reality of knowing Jesus. But the Lord wants us to press on for more of
Him. He desires for us to receive a full inheritance, which includes
honor, riches and the fullness of knowing and being made like Jesus.
The Lord made it clear that there will be various levels of inheritance
based on our relationship with God and the righteous deeds that flow out
of that relationship.
- The Body - Many people mistake the Church for a building or
particular fellowship of believers. In truth, it is the body of Christ
consisting of all true believers everywhere from the resurrection of
Christ to the rapture. Universally connected with each other through
Christ's blood, the body is singular with each different part having a
role to play. It has nothing to do with a building, denomination or
particular religious practices. Instead, it has everything to do with a
person - Jesus. Thus, the Church exists with no division. All
true Christians are one in spirit.
- Rapture - All true believers will be taken up in the clouds to
be with Jesus.
- Work of the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit resides in the hearts
of individual believers. His primary role is to reveal the hidden
mysteries of God to man and to convict men of sin. The Holy Spirit
empowers Christians to serve the Body by imparting spiritual gifts.
These gifts are described in detail in I Corinthians 12. The Spirit
hands out gifts as He sees fit. Some in the Church, out of ignorance or
fear, have chosen to reject some gifts due to their supernatural nature.
But the Bible clearly shows these gifts are needed today as much as
ever. Receiving supernatural gifts is not a prerequisite for salvation
or necessarily an indicator of the spiritual maturity of a Christian.
- Prophecy - The apostle Paul encourages the early Church to
prophesy. He gives procedures and instructions on prophecy. God still
calls some to be prophets although serving in the office of prophet is
not necessary to prophesy. Modern prophecy lacks the same level of
authority as Old Testament prophecy. Elijah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah
and others spoke the very words of God, which eventually became part of
the Bible. There were no errors in Old Testament prophecy by God's
prophets. Prophecy today cannot be considered as authoritative as the
Bible because we are instructed to judge all prophecies by the
Scriptures. Christians are instructed to judge modern prophecy to
distinguish between what comes from the flesh and what comes from the
Holy Spirit.
- Sovereignty of God - God is God. He can stop the sun in its
tracks. He can create something from nothing. He can flood the earth.
God is omni-present, all knowing, and all-powerful. He works behind the
scenes to accomplish His perfect purpose - the reconciliation of man to
Himself.
- The Devil - Originally, Satan (Lucifer) served as one of the
highest ranked angels in heaven. Pride caused him to leave the best gig
in the world to temporarily rule earth. His native tongue is lying.
Ultimately, he will be thrown in the lake of fire for eternal torment.
